By purchasing tickets to New England FanCon, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
Pricing for New England FanCon tickets is subject to change. Rates may increase as the event date approaches. To lock in current pricing, we recommend booking early.
Attendance is at the guest’s own risk. New England FanCon, the venue, staff, volunteers, and affiliates are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property, personal injuries, weather-related disruptions or other acts of nature, or third-party service failures (including internet and electricity).
All community guests are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow attendees, guests, vendors, event staff, venue staff, and volunteers. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, intimidation, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Event management and hotel staff reserve the right to remove any attendee who violates this policy without refund.
A valid badge or wristband must be worn and visible at all times while attending the convention. Badges are non-transferable unless explicitly stated by the convention. Lost or stolen badges may not be replaced.
Community guests may not sell merchandise or promote businesses without prior authorization from the convention. Trading may be permitted, but only at booths that explicitly state they are open to trading. If you would like to sell at New England FanCon, please visit our vendor application. Unauthorized sales or solicitation may result in removal from the event.
Panels, workshops, and special events are subject to capacity limits. Seating is first-come, first-served unless otherwise noted. The convention schedule, guests, and programming are subject to change without notice. The convention is not responsible for refunds due to schedule changes, guest cancellations, or force majeure events.
Photography and video recording are permitted for personal use unless otherwise posted. Please obtain consent before photographing or recording individuals, especially cosplayers, guests, or minors. Professional photography, livestreaming, or commercial recording may require prior approval from the convention. Please reach out to nefanconhelp@gmail.com if you would like to participate in a media capacity. By attending the event, guests grant permission for their image or likeness to be captured in photography or video and used for promotional or archival purposes by the New England FanCon team.
Cosplay is encouraged! Please note that weapons, props, or costumes must comply with the convention’s prop and safety policies. Cosplay props such as foam swords and foam blasters are permitted at New England FanCon as long as they are not live weapons. No metal/hard weaponry or sharp items are permitted at any time at the event. Cosplayers with fake weapons as part of their costume will be asked to visit the information desk at the entrance of the convention for a marking to show the prop has been checked and is permitted into event spaces.The convention and venue security reserve the right to deny entry to or confiscate prohibited or unsafe items. All attendees must comply with venue security requirements.
New England FanCon is an event for all ages. With that in mind, the convention reserves the right to deny entry if outfits are deemed unreasonably gory or sexually explicit, or are otherwise offensive to any culture or firmly-held belief. Denied entry is at the discretion of the convention staff and in the event of denied entry, a refund will not be given. Denied guests are always welcome to return in appropriate attire.
Minors must be accompanied by an attentive parent or legal guardian at all times. Guardians are responsible for the conduct and safety of minors in their care.
In the case of the cancellation of the New England FanCon event, tickets will be refunded in full. Refunds requested 30 days prior to the event will be granted in full, minus the cost of credit card and processing fees. Refunds requested 29 to 14 days prior to the event will be 50% granted minus credit card and processing fees. No refunds will be granted 13 days prior to day of the event.
